The Artist
As a child, Abby Kunhardt Zinn was fascinated by her mother’s pillow-making business, so it comes as no surprise that she picked up the craft as well. After spending several years living in New York City, Abby and her husband, Ian, moved to West Palm Beach in 2012.
A former Pre-K teacher at Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy, Zinn took time off after the birth of her first daughter Katharine “Kick,” and started printing pillows for her friends during her daughter’s nap times. What started out as a hobby, quickly turned into an emerging enterprise when local Palm Beach boutiques started ordering more and more due to popular demand. Encouraged by her mother, Zinn decided to launch her own company, Palm Beach Prints, and has since expanded her collection to hand-painted canvas bags and baby clothes as well.
Abby and Ian are passionate about being involved in our community and giving back. Four years ago, they co-founded the annual Family Promise Luau at the Beach Club. Abby graduated from Skidmore College, and has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street in New York City.
Style & Quality
Abby's unique designs are inspired by nature: the ocean, tropical plants, wild animals; and by the culture and lifestyle of Palm Beach, and other coastal enclaves around the world.
Our key offering is our custom, hand-printed pillows. The pillows are made from 100% cotton and the paints are non-toxic and imported from Europe. The pillows are machine washable and colors will not fade.
